I cannot process any transactions and my eftpos terminal is showing ‘Waiting for connection to cash register’, what do I do?

Perform a full reboot of the pinpad by doing the following: 

  1. Remove EFTPOS from base unit (If it has one) 
  2. Hold down “Function & Clear” at the same time 
  3. Allow the machine to go blue, it will boot up 
  4. If the screen remains black, hold down the green key 
  5. Remove Power cable from bottom of base 
  6. Replace power cable to base immediately 
  7. Place EFTPOS handset on base 
  8. Allow it to boot
